# Description
This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures\.
# Tasks
Must have mechanical knowledge\. Must be able to adjust air brakes\. Must be able to repair lights and other minor repairs\. Must have hand tools\. Must have some truck driving experience Must be able to perform and fill out preventative maintenance inspection forms\. Must be self\-motivated\. Must be able to work any shift or adjusted hours\. Must be able to wash vehicles or parts\. Must be able to keep control of inventory, parts used and vehicle number serviced\. Must have valid driver s license and qualify to drive company vehicles\. Must be able to read vehicle owners manuals and parts books, or read online\. Must be able to write status of equipment and vehicles, when problems are discovered\. Must be able to do basic math add subtract miles or hours between service intervals\. Must be able to measure with oil dipstick and convert findings to amount of oil required\. Must keep work area clean\. Must be willing to lift 50 lbs\. Must be willing to meet the physical demands of the job Must follow all company safety and personal hygiene policies Must have PC skills to use internal computer programs \(complete work orders and bill out parts\)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
