# Description
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures\.
# Tasks
General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production\. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery\. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system\. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively\. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc\. Must be able to lift 70 lbs\. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours\. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job\.
# Requirements
Plant Maintenance positions require one year of experience in industrial maintenance, or the equivalent certification from a technical school\. Applicants who have worked for Tyson more than once will not be considered\. Minimum 6 month waiting period from last Tyson employment\. Applicants who were terminated from Tyson for the following reasons will not be considered misconduct, violation of drug policy, insubordination\. Your application is only active for the current month in which you applied\. You will need to reapply next month to have an active application and be considered for employment\.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
