Job Description:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the total operation of the assigned business unit. The position reports directly to the production manager. This position is responsible for the efficient and safe manufacturing of quality products in a manner that is consistent with company policies and procedures. This includes providing supervisors with information, materials, and training, enabling them to produce the highest quality product possible, monitoring records for attendance, payroll, production, safety and ergonomics, TQM, monitoring and promoting new ideas and encouraging the development of ideas from Team Members. Other responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of their assigned area or responsibility and analyzing non-routine problems and offering recommendations for solutions to the Plant Manager; ensure compliance with USDA, Federal and State Regulations; maintain entire operation of their assigned area, including but not limited to, safety, production yields, quality, Team Member relations, turnover and absenteeism, discipline, payroll, staffing, and line speeds.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: 3 plus years management experience with general knowledge of production techniques, procedures, product yields and quality, and OSHA regulations.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with bilingual skills preferred.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
