JOB TITLE:?Assistant Director of Nursing


REPORTS TO:?DIRECTOR OF NURSING


POSITION SUMMARY:


Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, assists in supervising nursing services and sets the standards of care to ensure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment so that each resident will receive benefit that accounts for their medical, physical, emotional and psychological needs. Fulfills policies and objectives establishing quality nursing care as set forth by the Administrator and standards of the facility. Supports and practices the philosophy, objectives and standards of Focused Post Acute Care and the Nursing Department, and directs the revision of these as necessary to ensure quality of care to all residents. To assure resident safety.



QUALIFICATIONS:


Vocational or registered nurse that is licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners in the state of Texas


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:




  • Completion of the daily list to ensure policy and procedures are being followed on a daily basis for the unit they supervise


  • Assure attending physicians are given support by nursing personnel


  • Other duties as assigned


  • Utilize electronic medical record charting; point click care



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations


WORK SCHEDULE:


As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays; non-exempt position

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
