Job Description:
SUMMARY: This entry level management position is responsible for learning all aspects of supervising various poultry production lines. This position will work under an experienced supervisor to gain the necessary training needed to lead teams of people to produce a high quality, safe product that meets customer specifications. This position will work with operation support departments such as Human Resources, Accounting, Maintenance, etc. and may require the holder to work various shifts during the training phase in order to learn additional facets of the operations. Other duties include ensuring that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently, promoting a safe work environment, and performing other responsibilities as needed. Candidate selected for this position may be expected to participate in and complete the PPF Training and Leadership Development Program which consists of a formal two week orientation at the plant of assignment, a nine week off-site basic training segment in Fayetteville, AR, and a six week plant technical and leadership segment at the plant of assignment. If candidate is selected, candidate will be expected to be an active participant, complete all assignments, and achieve all training expectations in order to achieve optimal performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Poultry Operations degree or other agricultural related degree is preferred.
Experience: Experience preferred but not required.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Special Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead others.
Travel: Some travel may be required to attend training classes.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
